OSVALDO E.
FUMO
Osvaldo Fumo, or Ozzie as he is better known to his family,
friends and the legal community was born July 27, 1965. He
moved with his family to Las Vegas in 1976. He is a graduate
of Bishop Gorman High School in 1983, the University of San
Diego in 1987 and Whittier Law School in December 1995.
Admitted to practice in Nevada in 1996. He practices
primarily Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. He is
admitted in all levels of the State Court in the Eighth
Judicial District. He practices in the United States Federal
Court District of Nevada. He has also argued successfully in
the Ninth Circuit court of Appeals.
Ozzie often serves as a legal analyst for local television
stations and is frequently quoted in the Las Vegas Review
Journal as an expert on various cases.
Memberships and awards include The American Bar Association,
Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, Nevada Attorneys for
Criminal Justice, The National Italian American Bar
Association, Past President of the Nevada Society of Italian
American Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense
Lawyers, and in 2006 was awarded the Outstanding Service
Award by the State Bar of Nevada.
His hobbies include the occasional cigar and travel. |

DUSTIN R.
MARCELLO
Dustin R. Marcello was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada.
His father moved here from Batavia New York, in the Buffalo
area, while his mother is from Rhode Island. Dustin attended
Clark High School, but was ultimately part of the first
graduating class of Cimarron-Memorial High School. From
there, he went to study Economics at the University of
Nevada Las Vegas, specializing in monetary theory and growth
dynamics of developing countries. After receiving his degree
in Economics, he maintained his commitment to Las Vegas by
attending the Boyd School of Law.
During law school, Dustin interned with the Honorable Judge
Bruce Markell. After being licensed to practice in Nevada,
he went on to work in the Appellate Division of the Clark
County District Attorney’s Office writing appellate briefs
on behalf of the citizens of the State of Nevada. Dustin is
admitted to practice in Nevada, including the Federal
District Courts and has had numerous appellate briefs
affirmed by the Nevada Supreme Court. He ultimately left the
District Attorney’s Office to practice criminal defense work
with Osvaldo Fumo in August of 2009.
Right out of law school, Dustin drafted a legal manual
entitled, “Southern Nevada Multi-Housing Association – 2007
Handbook. Additionally, he has a published article in
Apartment Insight and has appeared as a guest on “Face to
Face with John Ralston,” to discuss legal topics.
